6 Years Ago Today...

I married my best friend.

And my dreams came true.
It was incredible day.  One I will never forget.

It has been a great 6 years.
I am so thankful for Logan and the husband that he is -
I couldn't ask for a better husband.
I am so thankful for the father that he is -
I couldn't ask for a better father for my children.
He is amazing.
I love you babe.
Thanks for a wonderful 6 years - I am glad that I get to spend eternity with you.

A Very Merry Christmas!

What a Christmas!  We had a wonderful Christmas this year.  It was filled with memories, fun, and time with family.  We love our family and enjoy every moment we get to spend with them.  The kids had a blast and weren't disappointed.  The anticipated day was worth the wait!  We spent time reflecting on the birth of our Savior and the amazing sacrifice our Heavenly Father made by sending his Only Begotten Son down to earth to atone for our sins so that we may have eternal life and live with him again.

We spent Christmas Eve (or Christmas-Steve as the kids called it!) at Logan's parents house.  We enjoyed cousins, food, games, and good conversation.  The kids even acted out the Nativity Scene and did a wonderful job.  It was a fun night.

Collin was Samuel the Lamanite

Zach and Clarissa were Joseph and Mary

Sophie was an angel

Teddy was a Shepherd
Naomi, Emanuel, and Maya were the Wise Men.
Ruby was supposed to be the baby Jesus, but she decided that she was hungry!
It was a great performance.

The kids surprisingly went to bed well that night, and soon (maybe too soon) Christmas morning came.

Santa was good to us this year.

The kids enjoyed opening presents and playing with toys.

Both sets of grandparents were here for all of the action, and we enjoyed a yummy breakfast together.  After several hours of playing with toys, we loaded up the kids and visited Logan's parents house and then later my parent's.  We ended the night early to allow the kids time to play with their new toys before going to bed, and we made it home just before the BIG snow storm.

Ruby was a little angel.  She survived her first Christmas and didn't complain even once about all of the travel and shuffle of the day.  She is such a good baby.  And did I mention how cute she is?

And now that Christmas is over, we are moving on and looking forward to the next holiday!  I have heard Sophie say several times "I want that for Easter!"  I guess she has to have something to look forward to!

Merry Christmas!

Christmas Festivities!

Twas FIVE days before Christmas
and all through Grandma's House
people were partying
and filling their mouths.

Grandma read stories
of the babe and his birth
We all sang some songs -
some with more girth!

Presents were opened
and smiles were seen
the kids were overjoyed
and loved everything!

Thanks Mom for all your hard work and putting on a great party for the family.  We had a blast!
