This weeks simple thing:

A mother/daughter "T" Party with Sophie

We got all dolled up in our fanciest tea party clothes and had such a great time with the other girls and mothers in the ward.  We shared talents, ate yummy treats, drank lemonade, laughed, and watched a sweet movie about why each girl loves their mom!  It was such a great afternoon. I am glad that I get to share times like this with Sophie.  I love her!

This Weeks Simple Thing:

Dad brought home ice cream for the kids to have as an after school snack. Complete with colored cones! The kids thought it was the greatest thing ever! There were smiles from everyone!

POPSICLES!!

The kids like to cool off each evening with a popsicle.

Usually Lyla is content to share

but on this night...she wanted her own!

The girls were so happy to be home after being away for a few days.

It always makes me smile to see my kids playing together...or by each other!
It was a happy reunion with each other + their toys!!

i couldn't resist snapping a shot of my baby girl sitting on the grass this week. the weather has been so nice, and we've been spending lots of time outside. she enjoyed munching on this stick that she found...and i just want to munch on her {grin}!!

Kite Flying!

Dad stopped by the store and picked up a big red kite on his way home from work to surprise the kids with.  They were stoked.  We spent the afternoon in the wind trying to get this big red airplane to take flight.  It proved harder than we thought it would be but the kids still had a blast!
