October 20, 2015. Drake 12 months.

12 months:

weighs 25. 2 pounds (93%)

30.5 in tall (75%) 

happiest baby there is!

loves to explore the house

takes everything out of the cupboards all the time

a great sleeper

2 long naps + sleeps through the night

5 teeth 

constantly doted on by all his siblings

crawls everywhere

pulls up to his knees

loves remotes and phones

loves books

starting to like table food, although prefers baby food

eats 4 bottles a day

Gosh I love this boy! The last year with him in our family has been the best! We are lucky to call him ours! Happy 1 year Bubba Boy!

September 20, 2015. Drake 11 months.

11 months:

almost a year! so crazy!

smacks his lips in his highchair

loves to hear his voice especially in areas that echo

crawls all over the place

a little trouble maker

being outside is his favorite

gets crazy excited when i put him in his crib...anticipating tickles

loves remotes + phones

got 2 new teeth...4 teeth total now

loves the bath + loves to splash, splash, splash

September 10, 2015. Drakes first haircut.

I gave Drake his first haircut today! Not the most professional job, but it looks cute. Now it is easier for me to nibble those cute ears! He's such a cutie!

August 20, 2015. Drake 10 months.

10 months:

loves books

loves animal sounds 

tries to bark like a dog

claps his hands

drinks from a sippy cup

loves music

rolls everywhere

can get to a sitting position independently

wants to crawl so bad and is so close

sleeps only in his crib now

loves water and is an expert splasher

such a smiley, happy guy

August 18, 2015. Almost crawling!

This little man is so close crawling. I don't know whether to be excited or sad, cheer him on or push him down! One thing that is for certain though is that I love him like crazy! My little man is getting so big!!!

July 20, 2015. Drake 9 months.

9 months:

weighs 23.8 pounds (95%)

is 29.2 inches tall (84%)

my biggest baby at this age

started rolling...finally!!!

8 months:

April 20, 2015. Drake 6 months.

6 months:

weighs 19 pounds 1 ounce (75%)

loves to squeal really loud

cries when he goes to other people sometimes

takes 3 naps

loves to be held but doesn't cuddle

can almost sit independently

still not rolling yet

5 months:

has been sick the entire month

screeches like a pterodactyl

eats 5 ounces every 3 hours

still hasn't started solids

tolerates the car with much less crying!

loves to be held but isn't cuddly at all

always trying to sit up

March 6, 2015. Tubby time!

Finally this boy is tolerating his baths! He still doesn't love them, but at least he isn't screaming through all of them. I could actually stop and take a picture of him instead of rushing to get to get him clean and out as fast as I can!

February 20, 2015. Drake 4 months.

4 months:

has found his voice and loves to "tell stories"

February 3, 2015. Under the weather.

This little brother of ours has come down with his first cold. I guess it was inevitable. Collin and Lyla have been sick for weeks. I was hoping he wouldn't catch it, but it looks like we were't quite that lucky. The poor guy has been running a fever, congested, and pretty sleepy. His little cough is enough to break anyone's heart. We're watching him close making sure he is breathing well and staying hydrated. I hope he gets better fast. Despite being sick, he is still the cutest little guy ever!

February 1, 2015. Drake's Blessing.

Our sweet boy was given a name and a blessing at church today. It was such a special day filled with family and friends. It was so neat to see my little man encircled about by all the special men in my life. I'm so grateful for the Priesthood. 

Here are some pictures from the day. Drake looked so handsome all dressed in his blessing clothes. By the time I got around to taking pictures, he was tired and not feeling well. He still looked super cute though! Love him so much!

December 19, 2014. Smiles!

This cutie has started to smile and oh my goodness it is the cutest thing ever. I practically have to stand on my head to get a smile out of him so I feel so lucky to have finally captured one with the camera. Even if it was just my cell phone. I can't wait until he smiles all the time! Although he's pretty darn cute even when he's serious.
