Our Christmas was wonderful. Magical really. Bright and early Christmas morning both sets of grandparents came over to see what Santa had brought to the kids ... amazingly enough, we had to wake all 3 of them up this year. (Sophie was not happy about it. She had the best bed head and could barely stumble out of her room. But of course once she saw that Santa had visited she was good to go!) The kids LOVED all of their gifts this year and were spoiled by everyone. After the presents were all open we ate our traditional Christmas morning breakfast ... a breakfast casserole (my favorite), cinnamon rolls, and grapefuit. The kids spent the morning playing with new toys and watching new movies while Logan and I caught a much needed nap on the couch!
Later that afternoon we visited my parents house where the kids opened some more presents and we all ate a delicious lunch. After some visiting and relaxing, we headed off the Logan's grandpa's house were we were treated with more candy than you can imagine. And then we were off again to Logan's parents house where we indulged in fish stew, and played some rock band (our first time and we loved it).
It was a crazy busy day ... and every year we contemplate just staying home ... but really I wouldn't have it any other way. We love our families so much and are so grateful to be able to share in the holiday with them. Merry Christmas!

At first Ruby just sat on the floor not really understanding what all the fuss was about ... until daddy brought her a bottle and then she came out of her morning stupor.

Looks like you had so much fun!
We need to hang out sometime...
I'm glad you had such a great christmas. It is depressing the week after it's hard to get back in to the groove of normal life. Happy Anniversary too!! Oh and we need to get together before Olivia and Collin get married.
